		<description>There is a movement in the CHILE afficionado circles to begin using the word &lt;em&gt;chile&lt;/em&gt;...all alone...not chile pepper, not hot pepper, just chile...to edge the language use toward some sense of reason...and I am simply, reasonably and whole-heartedly following suit... so there! :-D</description>

I spell it &lt;em&gt;chile&lt;/em&gt; because that be the original word... and &lt;em&gt;chile con carne&lt;/em&gt; means hot peppers with meat... or &lt;em&gt;chile relleno&lt;/em&gt;- stuffed chile... but you don't see &lt;strong&gt;me&lt;/strong&gt; getting all my feathers ruffled do you?... how is it that kala mirchi has two words, but mirchi is one? And y'all had kala mirchi first? It's the same in Thailand with &lt;em&gt;prik&lt;/em&gt; (chiles) and &lt;em&gt;prik Thai&lt;/em&gt; (peppercorns)... at least you don't have to deal with &lt;em&gt;sweet/bell peppers&lt;/em&gt; on top of it! :-D</description>
